Irish Flag
The Irish Flag consists of 3 colours, Green, White and Orange. There have been many urban legends as to the meaning behind these colours but the real meaning has been taken from the Irish Government website, which states
The green represents the older Gaelic tradition while the orange represents the supporters of William of Orange. The white in the centre signifies a lasting truce between the ‘Orange’ and the ‘Green’.
